High-density Optical Distribution Frame system for central office FTTH networks — modular racks, fiber modules, splitter and MPO/MTP integration, optional PatchAssist RFID

  • Optical fibre distribution/patch system for Passive Optical Networks (PON)
  • Main application: fiber termination in Central Offices of FTTH networks

Key Features

  • Modular rack platform

    Single Row or Double Row racks in three heights (32 / 40 / 48 HU) and two depths (600 / 1000 mm). Open version converts to closed by installing side panels and doors.

  • Half Size and Full Size fiber modules

    Half Size modules (0.5 HU, 6 ports) and Full Size modules (1 HU, 12 ports) with metal frontplates and 45°-angled adapter holders for all conventional adapter types.

  • Multi-circuit splice & patch

    Combined splice and patch design with high fiber density and best-in-class maintainability, supported by snap-in angled holders and shrink/crimp splice protection.

  • Splitter integration

    Splitter Fiber Modules accept PLC splitters from 1:4 up to 1:128, pre-assembled with chosen adapter system.

  • MPO/MTP ready

    Dedicated MPO/MTP-ready fiber modules or separate MPO/MTP patch fields at top of fiber-module area or on extension bars.

  • 90° boot pigtail option

    Fiber modules with special frontplate for 90° pigtail boots — secure minimum bend radius in tight racks and reduced insertion losses.

  • Cable management

    Pre-assembled vertical and horizontal patchcord guidance, cable trough, back-side cable guidance and 8 HU module carriers as standard.

  • 19" subrack integration

    FODIS Pro modules can also be deployed in standard 19" racks via an 8 HU subrack accommodating up to 10 Full Size or 20 Half Size modules.

  • PatchAssist RFID option

    Optional Patch Assist Analyzer (with or without screen) plus RFID-instrumented modules deliver real-time port detection and integrate with AIM/DCIM software.
