SC Adapter Series

Fibre-optic SC adapter series in simplex and duplex versions — plastic or metal housing, two singlemode grades and four multimode grades for CATV, LAN/WAN and datacenter networks

  • SC interface in simplex (SCsx) and duplex (SCdx) configurations
  • Plastic or metal housing — both share identical external dimensions
  • Singlemode in two grades: Grade B (0.1 dB) and Grade C (0.2 dB)
  • Multimode in OM2, OM3, OM4 and OM5 colour variants
  • APC (green) and UPC (blue) versions available
  • Flange or flangeless versions for different installation points
  • One-piece (non-separable) variant available for simplex
  • Ceramic (Zirconia) sleeve for high-precision alignment
  • Standard packing with white T-dust caps (semi-transparent on request)

Key Features

  • UPC and APC versions

    Singlemode available in UPC (blue housing) and APC (green housing) — colour follows international standards.

  • Flange or flangeless

    Choose flanged or flangeless versions to match the desired installation point. External dimensions of plastic and metal housings are identical.

  • One-piece simplex variant

    Simplex versions are also available as a single-piece (non-separable) design, indicated by the '-S' suffix on the article number.

  • Ceramic precision sleeve

    High-precision Zirconia ceramic sleeve ensures maximum optical performance and stable insertion loss.

  • Multimode colour standards

    Multimode housings follow industry colour codes: OM2 beige (RAL 1013), OM3 aqua (RAL 6027), OM4 heather violet (RAL 4003), OM5 lime green (Pantone 22974).

  • Dust caps included

    Delivered with white T-dust caps as standard. Semi-transparent caps on request (replace .007 with .012 in the article number) — useful for laser inspection. Special colours (black/blue/green/beige) available.

  • Easy panel mounting

    Panel clip for easy installation; recommended mounting-hole dimensions documented in the datasheet.
